Resetting your Cloud PC is just like resetting a physical PC – it’ll delete all data and reset any changes made on your Cloud PC. Resetting a Cloud PC will reinstall Windows 11, remove personal files and apps, reset any changes to settings, and remove any saved restore points.  To avoid losing everything on this Cloud PC, use restore to return it to a previous point in time. Your Cloud PC will be unavailable until it finishes resetting.

Warning: This action can’t be undone.

  1. Under Your Cloud PCs, select the three dots at the top right of the Cloud PC you’d like to reset, and then select Reset.

  2. Check the box next to Yes, I want to reset this Cloud PC.

  3. Check that you’re sure you want to fully reset this Cloud PC, then select Reset.

  4. Once your Cloud PC has finished resetting, you'll see one of the following:

    • Reset [Name’s] Cloud PC highlighted in green - your reset attempt was successful.

    • [Name’s] Cloud PC wasn’t reset. Try resetting again highlighted in red - your reset attempt was unsuccessful. Try resetting again using the steps above.
