ISSUE

Users no longer see the Unified Voicemail form in Outlook Desktop. Instead, they see a raw MP3 attachment.

STATUS: FIXED

Unified Voicemail was retired from Exchange Online. For more information, please go to Retiring Unified Messaging in Exchange Online.

With this deprecation, Voicemail is now handled natively, and a Registry key has been created to enable voicemail forms in Outlook Desktop 64-bit clients only. This registry key was added starting in Outlook Desktop build 14226.10000+.

Users who are using 64-bit Outlook Desktop may set the following registry key to enable native voicemail forms:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins]
"AllowVoicemailForm"=dword:00000001

Users who are still using 32-bit Outlook Desktop and wish to use voicemail forms will need to install 64-bit Outlook and set the registry key.
