GroupMe allows you to archive group chats or DMs. DMs can also be deleted. Group chats cannot be deleted, but you can leave or end a group.
Archive a group chat or DM

From your Chat list, long press on the chat you want to archive.

Tap Archive
Delete a DM

From your Chat list, long press on the chat you want to archive.

Tap Delete.
Unarchive a chat

Tap your profile picture.

Tap Archive

Select Unarchive next to the chat's name.
Archive a group chat or DM

From your Chat list, swipe left on the chat you want to archive.

Tap Archive
Delete a DM

From your Chat list, swipe left on the chat you want to archive.
